• A ministry to Christian women who are victims of domestic violence

Jail Ministry

Our jail ministry is dedicated to meeting the needs of women during and after incarceration. While in
jail, we help women to discover the life change that results from a personal relationship with Jesus
Christ. We also provide the tools necessary for women to leave jail with a greatly reduced risk of recidivism. In-Prison Ministry

• Scott County and Rock Island County in-jail ministries
• Provide a weekly message to the inmates and to encourage life changes and bring hope to their
  lives
• Provide Christian mentors to develop relationships through letter writing and aftercare team encouragement

AfterCare Team Ministry

• Assistance to encourage spiritual growth
• Provide help and encouragement to the inmate post-release
• Provide transportation from jail to the in-take process
• Post-release mentoring by a 3 to 7 person aftercare team that is screened and trained for this ministry
• Christian activities - GROW choir
• The faith-based community is the best arena in which to provide aftercare

Greenhouse Transitional Housing Program

• AfterCare Team assists in acclamation ex-inmates to the community
• Safe, structured Christian environment to assist women in maintaining a honest, productive life
• Daily schedules include faith based addiction program, bible studies, MRT certified criminal
  and addictive thinking class, Thinking for Good, a Genesis Process relapse prevention class,
  Crown financial money management class, and a Be Transformed class.
  
• Assistance with locating employment
• Assistance with initial emergency needs

Domestic Violence

GROW Ministries provides assistance to Christian women to help them find
hope and assistance with domestic violence issues. Our mission is to teach women to become agents of change in their lives and how to take a Biblical stand in the face of abuse. Assistance in making life
changes:

• Christ-centered, confidential support groups
• Lay counseling and assistance to address needs
