How to Serve at GROW

Drivers
GROW needs individuals who are willing to give rides to ladies an bring them to church regularly.
Qualifications:
Must have vehicle
Must be willing to give clients rides and not be offended by the surroundings
Each client depends on coming to church by the "drivers" ride only, so you must be faithful at picking people up on time.
Mentors/Disciples
Being a mentor is really just being a "disciple" maker. A mentor starts the
relationship by becoming a pen pal to female inmates. The relationship then
progresses upon the release of the inmate, which includes: rides to church, Bible studies, occasional phone calls, faithful encouragement for GROWth in Christ.
Qualifications:
-Must be a people person with a non-judgmental attitude
-Must have a love to help others
-Must have confidence in uncomfortable situations
Grant Writer
GROW ministry needs someone who voluntarily will write grants specifically for GROW ministries.
Qualifications:
-Must be experienced in Christian Grant writing
-Must be willing to "look" for grants
-Must be a self-starter
-Must be able to give ten hours a month
Newsletter Designer
GROW has many things happening at a very fast pace. in order to keep up with the constant changes/blessings and prayer requests, we need someone who likes to design newsletters.
Qualifications:
-Must have a computer or access to one
-Must be familiar with software programs for designing newsletters
-Must be willing to meet given deadlines
-Must be a self starter
Prayer Warriors
GROW ministries needs prayer warriors who will be faithful and continually praying for the ministry.
Qualifications:
-Must have a passion for intercessory prayer
*Also Needed - coordinator for this department
Garage Sale Shopper
GROW needs a "shopper" to pass out flyers and business cards and request donations for GROW ministries at local garage sales.
Qualifications:
-Must be a regular garage sale shopper (at least once a week)
-Must have a passion for the ministry
Phone Volunteers
Grow needs volunteers who love to chat on the phone to call area businesses for donations to our basket ministry.
Qualifications:
-Must have a local QCA phone number, non long distance
-Must be able to volunteer about 5 hours a week
-Must have a pleasant voice

Truckers and Movers
Grow needs two men, occasionally on call, with a truck for pickup, delivery of
furniture and donated items.
Qualifications:
-Must have a truck
-Must be able to lift heavy items, i.e.; furniture
-Must be willing to deliver in ugly neighborhoods
